Media Diet: October 2024
October was dominated by travel and the recovery from all that traveling is what I am going to blame for this being so late.

This month marked the return of my local film festival, VIFF!
It’s hard to believe that the summer is already come to an end, it just flew by.
Summer has been absolutely flying by, and Vancouver finally got hot in July!
It feels like summer has finally arrived in earnest after months of slowly peaking its head out and hiding again.
I watched a ton of movies in the theatre this month which was a nice treat!
I spent three weeks of April traveling in Europe, with very little time spent reading or watching TV or films, so it’s a very light list this month!
This media diet may look short, but that’s just because I read the entirety of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
February was a very low-key month. I had no big travel plans, just a quick jaunt to Victoria for the Whitecaps vs Tigres soccer match and then back home.
Well, this was the most media I’ve consumed in a month in a very long time!
Another year of Media Diets in the books! I spent almost three weeks of December on vacation, with one week in Mexico and two weeks over the Christmas break.
Hard to believe that the end of the year is almost here and that I have only one more media diet post of 2023 to write!
I did a lot of traveling this month and spent a lot of time on airplanes – so it’s a very long media diet this month!
For the first month in a very long time, this post is within the first week of the month!
It’s hard to believe it’s already September and the Summer is over!
I’m finally all moved, and life is settling back to normal and looking forward to spending more time writing and working on some projects.
Another hectic month, another significantly delayed media diet, and no other blog posts.
After a very quiet April for media, my May was fully back to normal!
Iโve spent most of April traveling, so itโs a different media diet than usual!
All of my favorite shows of 2023 are already done for the year, and I am still trying to figure out what I will do with myself!
Lots of stuff started this month but not much finished! It’s really been the year of incredible TV shows.
2023 is off with a bang - and many flights with a lot of TV being watched.
The last media diet of the year! It was an interesting month of content.
I did lots of travelling in November and absolutely devoured the rest of the Alex Verus series.
Between the Vancouver Film Festival and spending a lot of time on planes, I watched and read a lot this month!
๐ The Paper Magician - Unnecessary addition to the original trilogy.
๐บ Bunheads - Love anything Amy Sherman-Palladino makes. Was perfect to watch while recovering from COVID.
๐ In the Shadow of Lightning by Brian McClellan - Loved his Powder Mage series but he takes his writing to the next level with his new book.
