Another month has just flown by! Vancouver International Film Festival was in October and managed to see a few great films. Rental Family was definitely my favorite of the bunch!
π₯ Rental Family - Super sweet and Brendan Fraser was fantastic in it. (A+)
π₯ Are We Good? - Great to see Marc Maron do a post film talk and discuss the movie. As someone who has listened to his podcast for years, really enjoyed it. (A)
π₯ The Mastermind - Decent but nothing that special. (B)
π₯ Jay Kelly - Fun movie and George Clooney does a good job, but nothing mind blowing. (B+)
πΊ The Hunting Wives Season 1 - Ridiculous, over the top, and light. (B)
πΊ Peacemaker Season 2 - The only piece of DC universe content I watch and it continues to be great!
πΊ Task Season 1 - Love Mark Ruffalo. This was great TV. (A)
πΊ Gen V Season 2 - Just fine, feeling burnt out on this universe. (B)
π₯ Mission: Impossible: The Final Reckoning - Now if I was burnt out on Gen V/The Boys universe, that doesn’t remotely compare to the last few Mission Impossible films. Glad this is over with.
π₯ Good FortuneΒ - Saw it in theatres but feels like it would have been better to wait and watch at home. (B+)
π₯ The Roses - For the combo of Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch it was pretty disappointing. (B-)
πΊ Chad Powers Season 1 - Had no expectations and loved it! Light and fun. (A)
πΊ Paradise Season 1 - Meh, fun concept, bad execution. (C+)
πΊ Blue Lights Season 3 - Not their best season but still great! (A-)
π₯ A House of Dynamite - Super tense and loved how they ended it. (A)
π Verity by Colleen Hoover - I understand the obsession but just didn’t click the same for me. (B)
π Alchemized by SenLinYu - Dragged at parts but impressive for a first time author. (B)
